We live in Peine, Germany. Peine has about 50,000 residents and is situated between two larger cities, Braunschweig and Hannover.
In college, Amanda was required to have an overseas mission’s internship. After doing some research we discovered the Christ Church in Peine, Germany.
We were drawn to the community aspect and their strong emphasis on relationship building.
Our Internship was between 2005-2006 and lasted 9 1/2 months. We moved here in May of 2010.
Our main focus is overseeing/follow-up work for the Let’s Start Talking programs we host.
Simple answer? We have English Bible studies with people who are trying to improve their English.
Let’s Start Talking (or LST) is a ministry that sends short-term teams to different parts of the world to read the Bible with people looking to improve their English.
No. We are independent missionaries who depend on the support of churches and individuals.
Absolutely! Each spring we have a team come from America for 3 to 6 weeks to read the Bible with people looking to improve their English. This is a great opportunity to read the Bible with somebody who probably doesn’t know much about God’s Word.

No, but I do have the legs for it!
We live solely off of the financial contribution of churches and people like you.
If you do decide to support us, then I want to say Thank You! This is how God provides for our needs. Please check out our Partner With the Knapps page to find out how you can make a difference. Click Here.
We plan on doing our Stateside work in 2016, that’s if we can afford to purchase plane tickets.
Each month we send out our prayer requests. 1 for each day of the month. We believe that God strengthens us for life and ministry through your prayers.
Beautiful, green springs and summers. The architecture of the half-timber houses. The interesting historical aspects. Too many bakeries to count.
But most of all?
The relationships we have built!image credit
