English Church Service 2015

English Church Service 2015

On June 28th we had our annual English church service at the Christusgemeinde.  I requested that we pray that 10 Let's Start Talking readers attend the service.  God did not answer that prayer. He did provide 10 guests though!  That is very successful.  There have been years where no guests or readers attend. We are going through The Story right now and I preached on the younger part of David's life.  I talked about how David had a heart after God's and how we should too. It was Matt and Michael's (our first team) last day with us and Denise and Marrisa (our second team) first day. We...

Baby #2: Baby Belly Pics

Baby #2: Baby Belly Pics

Well, there must be something in the water in America because again we got pregnant while on furlough. At the beginning of the pregnancy I struggled with some nausea, but that didn't last long. This pregnancy is different than last time. I feel like I just eat and eat and eat a ton. Maybe I can't remember too well since last time, but I think this baby is more active or pushes harder than Max did. Sometimes I feel like the baby is going to push it's way right out of my belly. I have noticed that with this pregnancy I have had more pain especially here at the end of the pregnancy. I notice...

Baby #2: Ultrasound Pics

Baby #2: Ultrasound Pics

Just like last time, we didn't want to know if this baby was going to be a boy or girl. We have a picture of just an arm because this kiddo was not willing to show it's face. But this last time was perfect - we got 2 good pics! We have been having fun with Max, always asking him if he wants a brother or sister, boy or girl, or Alex or Olivia. It has been funny to see what he would always say, but he would always pick the feminine option no matter how much we tried to trick him. But at the beginning of the pregnancy, he would always say cookie. While at the doctor, Daddy would explain the different...

Singing in the Rain

Singing in the Rain

I led the service today at church and Amanda had children's church.  With all the planning this means that Max didn't get much time outdoors this week. Tonight we went to the park despite the rainy weather. These photos were edited in gimp.  This is my first time using that software for family fun pictures.

Easter 2015

Easter 2015

Putting fake eggs on tree and bushes is a thing here in Germany. Here are Max and momma decorating the dead tree branches. One can buy colored eggs in Germany but where is the fun in that? Here are Max and momma coloring eggs together. Momma took time to teach Max about the true meaning of Easter. Here she set up the Last Supper. Judas is the shady looking lego character. ;-)
