See more...Okay, Max isn't the muffin man but he could be the pancake boy. This morning max stepped into the kitchen, strapped on his apron and mixed us up some pancake batter. This is one of the many benefits of having a son. Now if I could just get him to clean the toilet.
See more...We are a little rusty on the story of St. Patrick, so we went ahead and told Max about the story of Noah because it includes a rainbow. St. Patrick's day was celebrated with brightly colored food. Amanda is, of course, the master mind behind this idea. Max enjoyed everything... it was food after all. Max didn't get pinched because he was wearing green. I got pinched on the lips several times by Max. He didn't care if I was wearing green because apparently my lips scream out to him, "PINCH ME!" :-(
See more...Not every post is about that cute boy Max. Sometimes they are about weird vegetables like this paprika that is shaped like a pumpkin.

I had so much fun decorating with my friend Sri from Sri Lanka. This was Sri's first time to decorate a cake. We took the same German language class together. From time to time, we try to get together to practice our German. Here are some cake decorating photos:

Once it is cooked all the way through (medium rare does not go well with tacos) add one packet of taco seasoning. Add two cans of kidney or pinto beans, add lid and let simmer for 20 minutes. Pour enough canola oil in to a different pan so that you are able to submerge the taco shell all the way. Turn the burner on hi or all the way up. Once the oil is hot put one taco shell (corn not flour) in the oil and after a couple of seconds fold shell in half. Cook on each...
